Little Black Book to Success
Jul 13, 2008
I'm always happy to review and comment on small business books. And I include the review in my blog. Send anything you'd like for me to review.
On that note, I just finished reviewing Tom Marquardt's book, "My Little Black Book to Success", http://www.theprofitrepairman.com . It's a fast read and really hits home on some important points.
Here's the review I just sent back to Tom.
Hi Tom,
I finally had the time to read your book. I like it! It's well written, easy to read and offers a perspective that isn't known by many small business owners. Using the concept of running a business like a hotel reinforces the value of time. For every day a room isn't sold, that money is lost forever. For every business an hour is a precious commodity. Thanks for reminding the reader of that.
And it's good to be reminded about the supply and demand axiom, the importance of impressions and keeping things running smoothly with good people and systems. I'd definitely recommend it to every small business owner. The more they know the better decisions they'll make.
